Up Cycle

Want to wear your mother's dress but it's old and dated?  Up Cycle is a process of using an existing dress for fabric to create a new style that may be more appealing to your needs, while maintaining the sentimental value of the original dress.

The Start

Original Dress

Original Dress

Carrie had decided she wanted to wear her late mother-in-law's wedding gown from 1976.

The End Result

By combining Carrie's style with the original dress, a beautiful updated gown was created.  She looks absolutely stunning!

Antoinette

Being the only female grandchild, Antoinette wanted to be able to wear her grandmother's wedding dress.  Because of the elaborate theme of her wedding, she decided to use her grandmother's dress to create this beautiful cocktail dress for her bridal shower.

Valerie

Valerie wanted use use not just her mother's wedding gown, but also her grandmother's gown.  By using the fabric from both dresses (neither of which fit her), we were able to create a one-of-a-kind dream dress.  The vintage lace combined together to create a more modern top.
