As much as I would love to agree with you, that may NOT always be true. A little secret is that bridal seamstresses give back to the store, which does NOT equate to being the most talented, affordable, nice, or any other metric you would normally use when choosing a wedding seamstress.
"So, What do I do?,,,"
Well, I wouldn't rule out the seamstress at the store, but I would do the same amount of work finding a qualified seamstress as you did to find that bridal boutique that you bought your dream dress from.
If you are going to spend top dollar on a bridal gown, and spend countless hours finding it, you should also spend a little time figuring out who is going to take that dream dress apart and put it back together so that it fits like a glove.
